About SAC Library

    The SAC library specializes in the collection of anthropological materials in both Thai and foreign languages, including English, French and ASEAN languages. The collection currently comprises approximately 90,000 volumes on anthropology and related disciplines.  Apart from books and scholarly journals, the library houses a collection of dissertations in anthropology produced about Thailand over the past twenty years.  Printed Collections: Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Collection, Reference , French Collection, Research Papers and Dissertations, Journals, General Collection in the fields of anthropology and related sciences, including philosophy and religion, Thai studies, Asia studies, history, ethnology, culture and tradition, arts, language and literature, Pamphlets, ASEAN Collection,     Special Books Collection; Rare books, spacial books donated by Aj. Sombat Plynoi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Akin Rabibhadana, Maps, Cremation Volumes Collection.

 

    Audio-Visual Collections: The SAC production and collections of video recordings on anthropology and other related topics, such as the SAC organized academic activities, traditions, rituals, ethnic groups, arts, music performances, historical and archaeological sites in Thailand.
